Nail Infill Prices: Acrylic, BIAB, SNS and Toes

What an infill is, what each one costs at our Croydon salon, how often to book and how to decide between an infill, a new set or removal.

An infill is the quiet workhorse of nail maintenance. It keeps your set looking freshly done without the time and cost of starting again, and it is far kinder to your natural nails than repeated removal. But infill prices vary from one system to another, and it is not always obvious what you are paying for. This guide sets out our infill prices for acrylic, colour powder, ombré, BIAB, SNS and toes, and helps you decide when an infill is the right choice and when it is time for something new.

What an infill actually is

As your natural nail grows, a gap appears between the product and your cuticle. After a few weeks that regrowth becomes visible, and the balance of the nail shifts towards the tip, which makes it more likely to lift or snap. During an infill, your technician gently files down and reshapes the existing product, preps the regrowth area, and then applies fresh product to fill the gap and rebalance the nail. You leave with the same set, refreshed, rebuilt and looking new.

Because the base is already there, an infill usually costs a little less than a full set.

Why the prices differ

Acrylic and colour powder

A standard acrylic infill at £30 is the most economical way to maintain extensions. Colour powder is £35 because the colour is part of the acrylic itself, so the technician has to blend new product seamlessly into the existing shade at the regrowth line.

Ombré and glitter tips

At £40, these are our most detailed infills. Re-creating a soft fade or an even sparkle across the new growth takes extra care so the join is invisible.

BIAB

You will notice a BIAB infill is the same price as a new treatment, £35. That is because a BIAB infill involves almost as much work: filing back, rebalancing and rebuilding the structure across the whole nail, with a fresh colour if you fancy one. The real benefit is that it avoids a full removal, so your natural nail stays protected underneath. We explain the process step by step in BIAB infill explained.

SNS

An SNS infill in the same colour is £30. If you want a different colour, the existing colour needs to be worked back much further, so it is priced as a redo at £40.

How often should you book an infill?

Most people find that somewhere in the region of every two to three weeks works well, but the honest answer depends on how fast your nails grow, how long you wear them and how hard you are on your hands. Signs it is time to book include:

  • A visible gap of regrowth at the cuticle
  • Nails feeling heavier at the tips or catching on things
  • Any edge starting to lift away from the natural nail
  • Colour looking less fresh than you would like

Leaving infills too long is a false economy. Lifted product can trap moisture and makes snapping more likely, and a nail that breaks low down may need a full rebuild. For a deeper look at timing, read how often to get acrylic infills. If you ever notice pain, swelling, discolouration or anything that looks like infection under or around a nail, please see a pharmacist or your GP before having more product applied.

Infill, new set or removal?

An infill is not always the right call. Here is how we usually advise clients:

  1. Choose an infill if your set is intact, you are happy with the shape and length, and there is no significant lifting.
  2. Choose a new full set if several nails have broken, lifting is widespread, or you want a completely different shape, length or style.
  3. Choose removal (£10–£15 depending on product) if you want a break, or your nails need some time to recover. We always remove professionally and never peel, which protects the layers of your natural nail.

If you are not sure, simply book the infill and your technician will look at your nails during the consultation. If a new set or removal makes more sense, they will tell you honestly and confirm the price before starting.

Keeping infill costs down

A few simple habits help your set last until the next infill: daily cuticle oil, gloves for cleaning and washing up, and using your fingertips rather than your nails to open cans and peel labels. On the money side, every pound you spend earns a point in our free Shiny Club, and 100 points is worth £5 off a future visit. Regular infill clients tend to build points quickly. When you are ready, you can book your infill online at any time, with instant email confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change colour at my infill?
Yes. With acrylic and BIAB your technician can usually refresh the colour, and SNS in a new colour is priced as a redo at £40. Your technician will confirm the price first.
Can I get an infill on a set done at another salon?
Your technician will check the condition of your nails at the consultation. If an infill isn't the best option, they will explain why and suggest an alternative before starting.
